I know goal setting and planning works as I use it in my personal and business life with great results. I have often ask my clients what they wold like to achieve and often they reply, “reduce my debt”. Watching them I always notice how they start to deflate when they think of how much they owe. How can a goal work if it starts off by leaving you feeling deflated or out of your control? it can’t!
A goal must be something that induces good feelings and makes you smile. We all want to reduce our debt but debt often induces fear and goals cannot be driven by fear, rather they need to be driven by desire.
Desire is a good start to goal planning… so what is it you desire? Do you really know, if not start of with a small goal.
Try making one of your goals a pay increase or a promotion at work. That way the increase in money automatically takes care of the debt reduction and the goal also gives you something to strive for. The goal will also give you energy to find a way to get the increase, giving you better results at work. These results will speak for themselves. Keep records of the changes and achievements and in your pay or job review, show them as evidence you are earning the company more and deserve a raise or a promotion.
Once you set one goal, for one part of your life, you will start to see how you can achieve more in other areas of your life as well. So get goal setting.

I hope your week has gone well and you are settling into the restrictive energy and allowing yourself to rest and not fight it, this week it is especially prudent to go with the flow and not react to things happening to you and around you. July is an important month for those that follow the magical calendar as it is the time to focus on intention to do with money and what you need for the remainder of 2009. This month (new moon) is an ideal time to perform a money spell and ask the universe to guide and help you achieve what you want to do.
So stay clam this week and look to where you would like 2009 to finish for you on a financial level and ask for support.

June – Now we’re talking money! The number 8 is very much concerned with material and external manifestation. It is the number of results and accomplishment especially when it comes to work, career and business. If you have been thinking that you need a physical change then June is the month to consider this or anything else physical in your life. Use your creative energy to find amazing ideas to make your life better, inspire your kids and family as not only will you get ahead but you will feel great too.
8 is the number of vision, and therefore very much in touch with financial planning and material concerns, don’t sweep your financial problems under the carpet as now is your chance to sort them out. We have not energy like this for some time so enjoy it and make use of every drop.

Hi All
It has been a while since I have written in my blog as I have been busy writing an eBook on money, numerology in 2009 which is near completion and will be available for free on my website www.woman2woman.co.nz in May so keep a look out.
The energy this month has been more relaxing and not so tiresome which I have enjoyed. I feel there are some restrictions coming in May that I wanted to warn you about as I feel with the right mind space it will be easier to cope with. I feel there will also be another shift in the USA which will make the money markets nervous and in NZ we should see a small window and a drop in interest rates so make the most of this if you have not already.
Business is still tough for some and really bad for others and again attitude and mind set will make the differenceto get through this time with less stress. The more passion you have for what your doing the better, as passion helps find windows of opportunity. If you have no passion at all and life or work it is just a drudge then I would take a good look and make some decisions as life is too short to be a drudge.
Passion makes all the difference to what your doing as it induces the right hormones to have more fun.

The first week in March felt more fluid and people are finally starting to let go and see that they can survive this recession. This week saw people making decisions and moving forward especially in business as it has been a time of change, a lot of people were not ready to embrace the recession as they felt immobilsed. I was sent a quote this week which made me feel pretty good as my competitive nature kicked into play and I wanted to inspire others.
“The economic pie is shrinking and you need to get a bigger piece of it. There’s no better time than right now to proactively promote your business. This is the time to be original, amazing and helpful…and then to tell that story to everyone who might be interested.”

Donald also told us about a campaign that Canadian Airlines did: The folks at JETWEST delighted customers and made money by offering the following for February 14th anybody with last name Valentine, Sweet of Heart (hart) or with the first name Rose was able to fly anywhere in Canada for $14 plus taxes for that day. This was very clever and got them a ton of free publicity all across the country and made many people smile.
When is the last time you made your customer smile?
So think, be original and most of all remember “it is business as usual” make sure your communication is good that you follow through and give extra customer service and make your business one with a difference. But most of all enjoy what you’re doing and if you’re not, then make a change.
This week I want to focus on business and money, the energy and how to keep things fluid.
