Hi All

As the month has progressed you will have started to notice more and more tension from the business community, as people are struggling and feeling a lot of fear of what is next. Like I have said in my earlier blogs, business as we know has gone and we are in no mans land while the new regime settles in.

I have spoken with a few people in business and they are finding it very competitive and clients want everything yesterday and for a very low cost due to a smaller amount of money to go around. Our profits are taking a hit as the expectations are high and the credit crunch continues to smack. Credit limits and accounts get pushed causing fear and reactions to your debtors.

We will see many companies react from fear in the next two months as they enforce credit limits on their debtors, however the affect of this will not be felt for a while and then the companies that have enforced this realise that they may have shut their business down.

Put limits in place and enforce them but do it right. Look at the company history and how they communicate and put realistic limits in place that everyone can survive with. Remember everything you do has cause and affect so make sure you think about all the consequences from decisions you make and procedures you put in place now as the outcome does take a while to show up.

It is all about making 2009 work for you the best you can. Work smart not hard and watch for hidden traps.

Till next week

Rosina
